Publications

Over the years, Il Palmerino Cultural Association has co-produced a variety of publications, largely published in two languages – from the proceedings of seminars held in honour of Vernon Lee to catalogues for exhibitions devoted to early twentieth-century women artists. A book and documentary spotlighting the Angeli family workshop, published in XX and 2021 respectively, reflect years of archival study.  Our videos bear witness to several of our special projects: from the rediscovery of Bolognese artist Lea Colliva to the ‘Oltrarno Gaze’ workshop, entitled ‘Making the future by hand’, a student grant programme with Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana e Sesto Fiorentino.

We have collaborated with a number of prestigious institutions to create this collection of catalogues, essays and videos and our partners include Advancing Women Artists, the Regional Council of Tuscany, the publishing house Edizioni dell’Assemblea, Archives for the Memory and Writing of Women; Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, The British Institute of Florence, Gabinetto Vieusseux and the Municipality of Monzuno.
